About the summit
The one-day summit, themed "AI-fication For Tomorrow's Economy", is organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI). Its sessions cover AI and productivity, industry and university collaboration, and AI agents as "digital colleagues" for business tasks under human oversight. That last theme is closest to our own work on AI governance and policy.
AI-fication For Tomorrow's Economy

This AI summit's theme is AI-fication. Two surveys show how AI is used at work in Bangladesh today. A Telenor Asia survey of 1,000 internet users found AI use at work in Bangladesh rose from 44% to 62% in 2025, yet only half of those users say their organisation has a formal AI strategy.
Leaders show the same picture. In PwC's Bangladesh CEO survey of 45 chief executives, only one in five use AI to a large or very large extent across core business functions, and fewer than one in five say their main AI tools can access all relevant company data.
Ontik's view: the gap is not tools. It is method, and method can be fixed.
An AI-added company layers tools onto work that has not changed. An AI-native company redesigns how work gets done, so AI handles a defined share of it with people in charge.
What you can do at stall 33
- Take the free AI-native check. Get a quick read on where your company stands today.
- Pick up the AI-native brochure. It covers our five steps from AI-added to AI-native: AI audit and leadership alignment, governance and policy design, AI automation implementation, enabling your teams, and redesigning processes around AI.
- Ask about the AI readiness assessment. Run remotely, it scores your company from 1 to 5 across seven areas, from data readiness to regulatory fit. You receive a 90-day and 12-month roadmap, prioritised use cases with value estimates, a process map ranked by automation potential and a risk register. Nothing is built during the assessment.
If your plan calls for a tool, Ontik's Kribu products (Kribu-Brain, PitchPerfect.AI and HireSight) and custom AI agents are available. Not every company needs one.
